This stone building has housed everything from pigs and horses, to bob-cats and cement buckets.  Currently, it is a laboratory for resident and visiting artists to Smithfield Farm in Berryville, VA.  A work in progress-- there are plans for a gallery/meditation room; gardens in which to work, play and dream; and of course, a studio where paintings, pots, prints and more are created.  Tour the site for information on our artist apprenticeship, visiting artists, casual visits for guests of our B&B and Smith Meadows Meats, and news on our current projects.
